CEO of Colonnade Lights International, Inc., Fred Blanton has been manufacturing accent lighting for malls, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, shopping centers, and professional buildings for over two decades.  Fred has previously been the owner and very creative mind behind Blanton Flowers, Inc.  A successful flower shop in Montrose since 1948, under Fred’s leadership Blanton Flowers branched out and began creating custom decorative floral services (for the likes of Tenneco, Honeywell, Exxon, Houston Parks Department, (formerly named) Post Oak Association, Moody Gardens, Hotel Galvez, Saks Fashion Center, numerous banks, and many others), award-winning Christmas displays, interior and exterior holiday décor, and was even asked to decorate the home of the CEO of Woodforest National Bank Corporation.  Fred developed the Colonnade Light Track in 1986 in response to a question he is constantly asking himself, “How can I do this better while improving the quality of my product?”  He found the answer in the Light Track.
